Linda J. Argenti was born in Providence, Rhode Island and attended Rhode Island College and the University of Rhode Island. She earned two degrees at Rhode Island College in English and Education and completed her Master’s Degree in English at the University of Rhode Island. She began a successful career teaching English at Cranston High School East and later taught at the Moses Brown School in Providence, Rhode Island. She has also taught part-time at Rhode Island Junior College, Rhode Island College and Rivier College in Nashua, New Hampshire.
In 1983, Attorney Argenti graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School and received her Juris Doctor in law. After teaching legal research and writing at Suffolk Law School for one year, she clerked for Chief Justice David Brock of the New Hampshire Supreme Court from 1984 to 1985. She has also been associated with various Nashua law firms such as Hamblett and Kerrigan, Prunier and Leonard and Boyer Law Offices. Since 1992, she has successfully run her own corporate practice as a sole practitioner.
In 1993, Attorney Argenti received basic and advanced training as a mediator. Since then, she has offered her time to the Court sponsored Alternative Dispute Resolution Program in the Superior Court each year. She also frequently serves as hearings officer for the Nashua Housing Authority. She has litigated hundreds of cases since 1985 in both Federal and State Courts in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She holds membership in both the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bar Associations as well as Federal Court memberships in both states. She was also recently admitted to the bar of the United States Supreme Court.

Attorney Argenti was president and trustee of the Board of Trustees of the Humane Society for Greater Nashua from 1985 to 2004. The Humane Society was founded in 1900 for the purpose of protecting animals from cruelty and neglect and ministering to those who were abandoned, abused and unwanted. Attorney Argenti is presently a trustee of the Nashua Symphony Association. The Nashua Symphony Association is the parent organization of the Nashua Symphony Choral Society founded in 1923 to enrich the quality of life in the greater Nashua area through professional performances of orchestral and choral music. The Nashua Symphony is New Hampshire’s oldest professional orchestra.

Since 1992, Attorney Argenti has worked as a sole practitioner and President of her own professional corporation with an office in the City of Nashua. Her practice is a general one, with a concentration in family law, civil and criminal litigation, bankruptcy, personal injury, juvenile cases, court appointed cases, and probate. She also provides services in estate planning such as wills, living wills, and powers of attorney. Her mission is to provide excellent legal and professional services, personal attention, aggressive advocacy and integrity to her clients and to act in a professional manner with the Court System and other attorneys. As a trained mediator, she is amenable to solving clients’ problems by negotiating settlements, when appropriate, and to seek creative solutions to their legal issues.
Her practice also extends to a much lesser extent to the nearby Massachusetts Courts. These cases consist of marital, personal injury, and occasionally criminal issues. She litigates in Middlesex County primarily, but has on occasion tried cases in Worcester, Brockton, Cape Cod and Boston.
